We are delighted to share with you some of our favourite tried and tested but simple recipes for children's party food. These recipes are not only easy to prepare, they are healthier than many shop bought options and loved by kids!

Home Baked Fries

Potato Wedges
Serves 6

12 small to medium Roosters
Olive Oil
Sea Salt

Heat oven to 200C/gas mark 6.
Wash potatoes and cut in half. Cut each half into four wedges. Place wedges on a baking tray. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and gently sprinkle with sea salt. Cook for 20 minutes.

Chicken Wrap

Homemade Chicken Goujons

Serves 6

4 large chicken breasts
100g Paxo Golden Breadcrumbs
2 eggs
Plain Flour

6 Wraps/Iceberg Lettuce (optional)

Heat oven to 200C/gas mark 6
Cut chicken into strips. Dip chicken strips into flour, beaten egg and then breadcrumbs before cooking. Cook for 10 minutes, turn and cook for another 10 minute
s.

Optional: Fold goujons and washed lettuce into warm wraps.

Homemade Burgers

Homemade Burgers
Serves 6

500g Lean Minced Beef
Breadcrumbs (1 Slice of White Bread)
1 Onion (chop very finely)
Dessertspoon of worcestershire sauce
Mixed Herbs
Pinch of Pepper
Pinch of Sea Salt
6 Buns & Garnish (Optional)

Put minced beef in a bowl. Add bread-crumbs, chopped onion, worcestershire sauce, herbs, salt and pepper and mix. Divide mixture into 6 burgers. Cook burgers under hot grill for 3 minutes. Reduce grill to medium heat and cook for further 7 minutes on same side. Turn burgers and repeat on the other side. Ensure burgers are well done before serving.


Optional: Place burgers in buns and add garnish.
